Sad News - Evelyn Gledhill
It is with much sadness that we heard of the passing of Evelyn Gledhill in November. Although Evelyn was a member at Trinity, Ancoats, her ‘second home’ was Clayton, where she attended services in the evening and on special occasions, and enjoyed our coffee mornings and fayres as well as hosting the Lenten Prayer house groups. She was very well known and respected in the circuit where she was until recently secretary of the Mission Committee, where she was so efficient and committed to raising awareness of Mission work throughout the world. Evelyn will be sorely missed by us all and we send condolences to her family and to her friends. She was a true Christian lady.
