Ladies Sunday
What a joyous time we had in October with about 65 people worshipping on the day. It was good to welcome back Fiona Halliday to lead worship in the morning and to celebrate together. Fiona had remembered that we have a framed embroidery of the Last Supper hanging in the vestry and she spoke about it. Little did we know that the picture was embroidered by a lady who attended the Ashton New Road Church prior to our coming together in 1963 and was given to us all that time ago. In the evening, we welcomed our minister Rev Joy Rulton and her husband Bryan with other guests and ended the day with a light supper.
