Christmas Celebrations
Our toy service was a success with over 60 presents being given for the Wood Street Mission appeal. Many thanks. On a whole the Christmas service and celebrations went well though numbers were down at the bring- and- share lunch. The carol singing in the two local care homes was very successful with so many residents and staff joining in and enjoying the fellowship. Many thanks to so many people who have worked hard to prepare for fellowship, events and decorating the church over this busy period. Special thanks go to Hilda and her helpers, who worked throughout the year to raise money from the stationery and household good stall and to Joan and all who gave their time every week in the good as new shop and in the kitchen at coffee morning. May we continue with this vital outreach in the year to come. Weather permitting, the Thursday coffee morning will resume on January 7 2016.
